Psyche was launched October 13, 2023 on a mission to visit the asteroid Psyche. It performed a flyby of Mars in May 2026. It will arrive at Psyche in August 2029. It will study this asteroid from orbit, using cameras, magnetometers, and other instruments to characterize this object. The mission is being run by a collaberation between JPL and Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.
